If you create your account in the ummadum app, you have to confirm your email address. That is why you will receive a verification link by email. Telephone verification is also required to share trips

As ummadum driver you don't have to pay income taxes because the costs for driving are higher than the collected ummadum points. Even the legal expenses of 42 cent per kilometer plus 5 cent per passenger is higher than ummadum points from 4 passengers. You can contact your driver or passenger in the app by phone or SMS. For safety reasons, this is only possible for a limited period before, during and after the journey
If a user behaves inappropriate (for example using a criminal image or inappropriate behaviour in general) you can report him via the app.
PLEASE NOTE: reporting a user conduces as protection of other users and should only be used in case of inappropriate behaviour. Rating driving performance or any other aspects of participating a ride can be done via our star rating system.
After every ride you can rate your driver/passenger with a "star system". The more stars you give, the better is the rating.
Enter the desired start and end point - either manually or you set the pin on the map. In the menu under "My Places" you can set fixed locations such as "Home" and "Work".
Enter your desired date and departure time and click "search".
If no suitable connection is available for you, alternatives with public transport will be displayed. You can also share the ride yourself.
You can save and change your personal data and vehicle data in your profile. Your license plate will only be visible to your passengers after you have accepted your passenger. All information is used so that you can easily recognize your driver or passenger.

If you are willing to offer a ”help ride”, you are agreeing to help people that are not able to leave their home or are under quarantine due to the Corona Crisis. You are offering to run errands for those and are willing to deliver to their homes.
When starting the app, you have two options: Offer and search for a “help ride” or offer and search for ridesharing.
You want to offer help? Select “share help ride” on the home screen and enter the route you are planning. If you have fixed addresses (home, work etc.) you can save those with “My places”. These locations will then be displayed to you when planning your trip. If you want to learn more, please navigate to “How can I set my places?”. Alternatively, just enter the details of your ride or choose them on the map.
If someone is looking for your help, you'll get a notification in the app. You can find an overview of your notifications in the lower menu bar under the bell symbol "alerts". With new notifications, a red dot is shown next to the bell. The notification is intended for you as a preliminary information that you could soon be contacted by text message, phone or email. You can only get in touch with the person seeking help after she or he has contacted you for the first time.
By clicking "next step" you see the overview of your planned trips. Swipe left to see the other scheduled trips. If all entries are correct, confirm with "publish". Well done! You have successfully shared your ride! People in your area who need your help can now see your “help ride” trip and can ask for your support.

If you are looking for help, you can use the ummadum app to find a helping hand. Whether it is about running errands or walking your dog.
On the start screen, select "search help ride" and enter the address to which your goods should be delivered to. If you tap the location icon to the right-hand side of the input field, your location will be automatically found. Alternatively, you can enter the address manually, select it on the map or choose one of your saved locations. In the menu, you can set fixed points, such as your home address or your work address, under "My places" by default. These are displayed when you enter your desired route to make your selection easier. If you want to know more about this, please read the FAQs "How can I set my places?”. In the "Search for a ride" view you can specify when you are looking for help by entering the date and time. Confirm with "Search". Well done! You have successfully looked for help! In the next screen "Help ride" you will see all the help rides that are offered within a radius of 10 km. You have the option of contacting your helper via "call user", "send SMS" or "Send confirmation email". If you choose to send the confirmation email, you will provide your helper with your contact details. This is necessary in order for your helper to get in contact with you, to know where the delivery is going and to agree with you on the payment modalities. You can also include your shopping list or other things that you might need. For example, taking a walk with your dog. As an alternative to the confirmation email, you can also exchange this information by phone or SMS. After searching for a “help ride” (see "How can I search for a help ride?"), you can contact your helper by phone, text message or email. Then set this daily trip to and from work as a help ride and let those in need know that you could run errands on your way.

While booking a ride just choose your preferred partner and you get a predefined amount of points for the ride. So your costs for the ride get reduced.
